 Sandra Lee is a filmmaker and film professor teaching thousands of students the art of screenwriting, directing, and producing since 2005 as Professor and Director of Digital Filmmaking at The Los Angeles Film School, Professor and Associate Director of Film Production at The Los Angeles Film School, Artist-in-Residence in Screenwriting at Emerson College, Assistant Professor of Film Screenwriting and Production at Baylor University, and Associate Professor and Chair of Film at Regis University’s Colorado Film School. Sandra has also taught Screenwriting at the University of Denver, and University of Colorado at Denver.

 

Sandra is a screenwriter, director, producer creating narrative feature and short films that have screened and been awarded at Harvard University: Harvard College Film Festival, Film Festival KITZBÜHEL, Women’s Film Festival, European Independent Film Festival, Beverly Hills Film Festival, Vail Film Festival, Portland Film Festival, Newport Beach Film Festival, Stephen King Film Festival, among others.  Sandra’s documentary In Times of War was inducted into the United States Library of Congress, and awarded at several festivals nationwide.  With her significant industry partner relationships with Canon, Sony, and ARRI, Sandra’s film research is directing and producing projects that shoot high end, 4K RAW and finish in 4K.

 

Sandra has worked for Miramax Films in the Marketing, Product Placement and Promotion Department (Chicago), Sony Pictures, Columbia Pictures, Story Department (Big Fish), ICM Partners, TV Literary Department (Borat), and Wendy Finerman Productions, Development Department (The Devil Wears Prada).

 

Sandra studied filmmaking at top film school, Chapman University’s Dodge College of Film and Media Arts awarded with a Master of Fine Arts in Film and Television and the Cecil Award for Best Graduate Picture of the Year, and a Bachelor of Science in Television and Radio from Bradley University’s Slane College of Communications and Fine Arts.

 

Sandra is currently, screenwriting, directing, and/or producing a short or feature film project.
